What is the difference between a Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Brand Asset Management (BAM) platform?

Edited

Digital Asset Management (DAM) are dedicated tools for surfacing the right content like Guru, Bloomfire, Tetra and Showpad. But few offer a dedicated and interactive service that generates and delivers information specific to branding assets and policies (i.e. brand guidelines). Ethos fills the gap between traditional DAMs that are focused on sales and marketing content versus Brand Showrooms for the long-term benefit of a company.

A brand has content and assets that make it unique. With a DAM the brand assets can get cluttered in with other marketing, sales and operations files. With a BAM the experience is visual and allows all of your brand assets to really stand out. I'd describe a DAM like a big department store where a BAM is like a Tesla showroom. With a DAM you'll have a high-end Dropbox that is easy to search, but with BAM you'll have a beautiful looking website that makes your brand assets easy to access and use.
